How to Use SUMEO Bubble Serum: Mixing, Setup and Refills

SUMEO Journal · October 25, 2026

Bubble Serum is a concentrated formula for making floating bubbles with your SUMEO Bubble Maker. Dilute it before use, then add the prepared mixture to the Maker.

The key measurement: 1:20 means one part Bubble Serum to twenty parts water. For example, 5 mL of Serum plus 100 mL of purified or distilled water makes approximately 105 mL of prepared mixture. Follow the directions supplied with your bottle if they differ.

Before you start

Have your Bubble Serum, purified or distilled water, a clean measuring container and a charged Maker ready. The Maker should be securely installed on a suitable surface, away from direct shower spray. Keep the charging port dry and never charge a wet device.

Bubble Serum adds floating bubbles to your shower routine. Continue using your usual body wash and shampoo. Do not use the concentrated Serum directly on skin or substitute it for a cleansing product.

Step 1: Measure the concentrate

Use a measured volume of Serum and twenty times that volume of water. A full dropper is approximately 1 mL; a single drop is not a full dropper. For an initial setup, a marked measuring tool is the clearest way to check the ratio.

Examples: 1 mL Serum plus 20 mL water, or 5 mL Serum plus 100 mL water. Mix gently. Do not treat the Maker's tank capacity as the amount of water to use and then add extra liquid beyond its fill level.

Step 2: Fill and position the Maker

Pour the prepared mixture into the tank according to the device instructions. Keep the Maker stable, leave its air intake clear and allow space around the head for bubbles to move. Position it away from direct water flow and do not submerge it.

The angle can affect how the liquid is used. Start with the position shown in your instructions and make small adjustments if needed, keeping the device securely supported.

Step 3: Start your bubbles

On the touch-switch Maker, tap the switch once to wake the device; after the light comes on, use the Clicker to control the bubbles. Follow the instructions for your model if its controls differ. Prepare the device before starting the shower so you can keep the setup process dry.

Step 4: Choose whether to add scent

The Bubble Serum has no added fragrance. To add Rainy Forest fragrance, use a compatible Scent Pod in its designated position. Do not pour perfume, essential oils or body wash into the Serum mixture. The separate pod is the fragrance component in the SUMEO system.

If bubble output is weak

  • Check the dilution: too little Serum can reduce bubble output.
  • Charge the Maker fully and check that the tank contains enough prepared liquid.
  • Make sure the air intake is unobstructed and the head has room to work.
  • Check for residue and clean the device according to its care instructions.
  • If the issue continues, contact support with your order number and a short video.

When will you need a refill?

SUMEO estimates about twenty sessions of roughly ten minutes per Serum bottle. Actual use varies with dilution, runtime and device position. Keep the bottle closed when not in use and follow its storage instructions. For installation and equipment care, see the complete product guide.

Which part of the system do you need?

  • Starting from scratch: you need a compatible Bubble Maker and Bubble Serum. The Ritual Kit brings the starter components together; check the current contents on its product page.
  • Already own a Maker: Bubble Serum replenishes the bubble formula.
  • Want fragrance: use a compatible Scent Pod in the designated position. It does not replace the Serum.
